Pionnier/pionnière (~ explorer): boy and girl Scouts aged between 16 and 18.
Poste (station): name given to a section composed of the pionniers of a unit.
Between the age of 16 and 18, teenagers are in search of ideals and want to broaden their horizons.
At the station, the pionniers discover that they are citizens of the world as they put their skills at the service of others and translate their convictions into actions.
They reflect on their future and try to act in accordance with their convictions.
Throughout the year, the pionniers put together small and bigger projects, the main project being the camp.
The pionniers are expected to renew their Promise by taking a Pledge. They reiterate their desire to live according to the values of the Scout Law, while reflecting on the impact of their Pledge on their future life.
