Baladins
Baladin/baladine (~ beaver): boy and girl Scouts aged between 6 and 8.
Ribambelle (swarm): name given to a section composed of the baladins of a unit.
At such an early age, children undergo great changes, both intellectually and in terms of relationships. To make the most of all their discoveries, they have to gain a degree of confidence that is essential for their personal progression.
Through all the activities organised within the « swarm », the baladins and baladines are encouraged to meet their fellows; they dare to explore, try new things out and be amazed.
It is through the imaginary characters of the "Legend of the Minstrels" (La legende des Baladins) that the child can play around, live extraordinary adventures… and start exploring the values of Scouting.
